Who is this workshop for? 🌟 This workshop is dedicated to children between the ages of 7 and 12, who are curious, full of imagination and eager to explore the surrounding world through colors, shapes and textures. There is no need for previous experience in artistic activities – all that matters is the desire to create and the joy of expressing oneself freely.

“The Colors of Unification: Collages and Heartfelt Drawn Stories” is a workshop specially adapted for children, simplifying the ways of working and increasing the diversity of creative elements. Together with us, the young artists will learn a unique collage technique and will draw. Every child can transform what they feel into living collages or small works of art full of charm and meaning.

The work themes selected by us encourage experimentation, creative expression and are a great way to build the confidence and sense of achievement of each child.

What will we do? ✂️🎨 Children will explore a unique collage technique that combines free drawing, cutting and creative assembly. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a painting inspired by the theme of Romania’s national holiday. Our goal is to offer children an opportunity to explore history through art, to encourage their creativity and affective connection with Romania, the Colors of Unification, through an accessible and lively language, full of color and emotion.

We will encourage personal expression, without rigid rules or strict limits, in a warm, encouraging environment, where every creation is valuable and appreciated.

What children go home with:
·  With an artistic work made by them, inspired by the Colors of Unification and Romania
·  With a better understanding of the meaning of December 1st
·  With the pride of having created something unique, in a setting where they were listened to, encouraged and supported
·  Collage with various materials: colored paper, textures, drawn shapes, etc.
·  Creating a final work – a thematic painting inspired by Romania’s national holiday

What the little ones will learn, the workshop objectives:
• Developing creativity and visual imagination
• Stimulating fine motor skills by cutting, gluing and drawing
• Encouraging emotional expression through art
• Creating a sense of confidence by making a personal work
• Socializing, cooperation and fun in a relaxed and friendly setting
